Hello,
My continuing saga with Circupool has led me to look at other brands. The real problem is that my pool is 35000 gallons in the Texas heat. The saga can be read here: Can’t recommend Cirrcupool anymore

I don’t think the IC60, even it can find one for sale, is enough.

What other brands should I take a look at? What other brands produce substantially more than 2 pounds a day?

ThankYou,
Bryan

I had the IC60 on 35k in NY. I have much lest UV than you, but it LAUGHED at keeping up in the few hot weeks here. I only hit 60% a few times in 8 years and it was still overproducing at 100+ degrees out. 104 is not 120. I respect that. But still. She is a beast.

After looking at Hayward and Pentair, it appears that Pentair is the only one of the two that might be big enough. I don’t know anything about Pentair SWCG’s.

Can an IC 60 be run without automation? Currently I have the main pump and the SWCG both power on from the same InterMatic timer. In the summer, the timer is pointless since I run my pool 24/7.

ThankYou,
Bryan

I was 'the TV remote' groing up. I have no problems walking over and pressing a button. Once a week WAY preferable to the every 20 mins I was used to. :ROFLMAO:

My IC60 did just fine with no automation. It never complained once.

Timers are irrelevant for 24/7 operation as you've seen. Also, good for you. Huge fan of 24/7 (y)

I have an IC60 running on my 35K pool and not connected to any automation. Works great.
