iAqualink not showing pool temp when other pump speeds selected.

Hmmm, interesting, I learn something new every day.

I think you have found a bug in the system. I removed the filter pump item from a one touch menu item and instead just replaced it with a VSP speed setting.

When the one touch item is activated the pump does indeed run at the selected VSP speed WITHOUT the filter pump function being enabled. The pump does run and shows up in the web status screen as running at the selected speed, AND as reported the temperature display is blank.

So this is sort of an undocumented mode, or a bug if you look at it that way.

For the system to work right, and for the system to fully think that it’s running always schedule the filter pump function any time pump is to run. Then schedule faster VSP pump speeds as a subset of the filter pump run time. Then the temperature display will always be shown when the pump is running.

Another note to add to the VSP section of the Aqualink Wiki.

The SWG is usually powered through the filter pump relay.

So if the pump is running without the filter pump relay closed no chlorine will be generated.
