Unit loses date and time after power outage so I assume the best place to start is replace this battery. Problem is how to correctly remove it without breaking it? I hate these things. Tiny contacts on the right side top I don't want to break off. I have a small flathead jewelers screwdriver but i don't know if i should pry it out from the middle or if that will break it. What's the correct procedure here? Thanks!

Lift with the screwdriver slowly at the area away from those contacts. It will come out.
