My skimmer line feels like no suction whatsoever and I fear my line may have collapsed over the winter. My other skimmer line also collapsed several years ago and had this flexible piping coming out of skimmer which I replaced with pvc. Questions are how long can I effectively run my pool off 1 skimmer? Also how far does the flexible piping usually run from the skimmer? At some point it does convert to pvc as it is pvc at the valves. I am hoping that maybe I can access without having to bust up or cut out cement. Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

Don't know the size and shape of your pool but many pools only have one skimmer. You can run it on one skimmer indefinitely.

There are several lines of flex pvc suitable for burial. Of course proper placement is paramount.
