I think I have mustard algae

Hello



I don't have any any CYA in pool. I have mustard algae, but thought it was sand. Should I add the conditioner to the pool before treating the algae? I did a water test and my chlorine is 1.2, PH is 7.2, total alkalinity is 90, calcium hardness is 170.

To perform a SLAM Process to kill & remove algae, you will need a minimum CYA of 30, then increase (and maintain) the FC at 12 until you pass all 3 SLAM criteria. That's very important. Good luck!
