I somehow have developed a crack in my Jandy filter and need to replace it.
I tried using epoxy to seal the inside and outside where the crack is (around the intake pipe at the top) but after a few weeks that is failing. Which I am not terribly surprised by.
I am a contractor who has built plenty of homes and have done plenty of plumbing, irrigation work so I am planning on doing the work myself. Especially since my neighbor just paid $350 an hour to replace a perfectly good pump with a variable pump. but any advice (even if its warning me not to do it myself) or support in what to buy to replace the current filter (Jandy Model CL460 filter) would be great and if anyone has done this work themselves insights would be great as well.
Thank you in advance
