I made a mistake

I am so overwhelmed with learning a lot of things. Yesterday night I intended to throw 2LBS of granule chlorine (Calcium Hypochlorite 78%) in my pool that had FC at 0.1.
I have no idea what I was thinking but I threw this in both my skimmers (1 lbs in each of them)

I messed up. What will happens now? Anything I can do to fix this? Do I need to be worried?

Jig,

You don't want to normally add granular shock into your skimmer, but I doubt you hurt anything.

Nothing you can do at this point. Just try not to do that again. Unless this is a frequent practice, you’re probably fine.

Thank god. This is the first time I have done this. I have no idea what I was thinking. I guess I was just tired and a bit lazy.

In the future- don’t add any chemicals to the skimmer aside from their chemical & exothermic effects on equipment, powders can clump up forming a rock & possibly clog the plumbing.
