My purchase of flex-hose is becoming an annual event. I tried repairing it last year. Wasn’t worth the trouble.

My wife is the gardener and can’t handle the weight of a standard rubber hose, especially not the 100 foot long one we need.

Is there anything more durable and lightweight? I got no problem paying real money if its worth it.

We’ve had luck with the Water Right brand of hoses. They are lightweight and once you uncoil them and stretch them in the sun for a few hours they don’t kink on us. We’ve had them a few years. Ymmv….

Just view them as disposable and keep a few in stock.

I buy my flex hoses from Amazon, and then I buy the extra extended warranty. A flex hose seems to last about 9 months here in Florida. So the first one gets fixed under warranty by the manufacturer. Then when that one breaks again, under the Asuiron extended guarantee.

So net/net I get a little over 2 years from a purchase and that works well enough for me.
