Help. MPV was stuck on stand pipe and hubby pulled the stand and laterals out of the sand. Our laterals are not the ball kind, so not sure how to take those off to remove. Can we just leave the pipe sticking out of the filter top resting on top of the sand, and cover til spring, then tackle it? AND I am assuming the fix process is vaccing the sand, rinsing the laterals, removing the rest of the sand, then refilling? Help me oh wise ones. And the pool year was going so good. lol... Thanks

Using a pipe wrench on a stand pipe is just begging to break something. Please go slowly and ask for help at every juncture. we'll all pitch in if you let us.
