No other control panel will replace the knob.

Hi there runs then turns off every 30 min must be due to the temperature of the pool being 81 degrees and 81 outside
Would you know where to get a new switch and knob as this one is pretty rusted and don’t want to snap off thanks

Thanks much does the t board come with the new knob and on off variable switch, can I just replace the switch and new knob or is it the complete board assembly

This heater is I’m guessing 09 ish I will take the eBay option. I have it turned on and fingers crossed when the temp drops it works. Currently it’s kicking on for 1min every 20 min
Did this ever work?
With an analog heater, you don't get error codes, so it is difficult to diagnose.
Do you have good flow?
Does the gas heater work?
Note: Do not leave the pump off with chlorine tabs in the feeder.

Hi James I have the chlorine dispenser with a couple of tablets and number 2 with the pump running 6 hrs a day

The tabs in the feeder continue to dissolve and this creates a corrosive soup of chlorine gas and acid that can/will migrate through the system and damage all equipment when the pump is off.
Seems like an error condition like excessive refrigerant pressure causing a safety sensor trip.
Maybe get an HVAC tech to check everything.
It can be difficult and expensive to find qualified HVAC techs who are ready, willing and able to work on pool heat pumps.
Based on the age, I would not spend a lot of money on the heat pump.
It is a gamble every time you spend money because it might make the heat pump work correctly and it might not, which just wastes your money.
At some point, it makes more sense to replace it with a new heater.
Have the new heat pump installed by an HVAC company who will agree to warranty and service the heat pump as needed.
Pool companies are not qualified to work on heat pumps except for simple repairs not involving refrigerant.
Thanks James I use the feeder when I’m not here, day to day use liquid chlorine will be sure to make sure it’s off when home.
The pool heater will see if it kicks off heating in the next couple of weeks then buy the board as you say new money after old may not work
