I need to replace the o-rings in the Jandy valve that switches between pool and spa suction. This is an actuator valve, and I don’t know how to remove the actuator in order to be able to open up the valve itself to replace the rings. How do I remove the actuator portion?

Thanks!

Remove the nut holding the handle down and remove the handle.

Then remove the four screws that hold the actuator to the valve shown below in orange.

Pull the actuator straight up and put to the side.

There will then be four screws in the valve cover to remove.

When you reassemble hand tighten the screws. No power tools. And don't over tighten or you can crack the plastic screw holes.
