Yes, with the system off, simply remove the screws/bolts securing the top of the valve to the body. The entire top part should come off from the base. Make sure to remember what position the valve was in when you removed it so everything gores back the same way. A common problem inside is the "spider gasket" or "wagon wheel" gasket. You will also find an O-ring around the shaft, all of which require lube. So when you take it apart to inspect it, make sure to clean and lube everything really well before reassembly.
