How to know if I have a dedicated vacuum line?

Good morning,

Bought my house a little while back and have always vacuumed from the skimmer, however, I recently had my pump motor replaced and the tech mentioned he thought my equipment looked like I had a dedicated vacuum line - is there an easy way to tell if this is true?

Look for any mystery ports in the pool wall. If you find one, play with the suction side valves and see if one controls it. If yes to both, then you've found where to connect the vacuum and how to put full suction to it.

M,

How about posting a pic of your equipment pad showing the plumbing going to the front of your pump...

Thanks,
