I spray off my filters real good after each use, but what do you guys use to "deep clean" your filters. I'm thinking maybe soak them in bleach or soapy water??

For mine, I clean with TSP (trisodium phosphate) and bleach. Cheap and easy method to remove grease and gunk.

Yep. On the box of the TSP powder (get REAL TSP not the "environmentally friendly" fake TSP) are the mixing instructions. I believe it is usually about 1/4cup per gallon of water and you can add bleach to the solution to help remove organic stains. Be sure to rinse everything thoroughly as the TSP solution is quite high in pH and do not get it near anything made out of aluminum as it will pit and corrode aluminum.
Laundry and dishwashing detergents used to have TSP as the active cleaning ingredient until it was banned from retail cleaning products in the 70's. Ever since then, dish-ware has never been quite as clean...
