How to choose a sand filter system.

Hi,
I am a new pool owner. It is an above ground oval pool, 15,000 gallons. It has an old Silica II 130 lb filter. Worked well last season but I was thinking to replace it - ~10 years old. The pump is Hayward SP1580X15 Power-Flo LX Series 1-1/2-Horsepower. What would be a good fit to replace those two with? I want to make sure I am getting the same quality and durability. I was leaning toward Hayward systems but there are so many of them I am not sure which is right?
Shall I look at pro-series ProSeries Systems | Filters | Above Ground Pool Filters - Hayward Pool Products ? But which model to choose? Where to buy?
I also looked at other brands like Aqua pro but not sure how reliable it is.

Is it better to keep the old system?

How does the pump look on the outside? Is it cleaning well still?

Did you know you can do a deep clean of your filter? Here is a link on how to do it: Deep Cleaning a Sand Filter

If you do decide to get a new one go as big as your wallet can stand. The bigger it is the less you have to backwash it.
