I’ve been looking to get a robot cleaner for 2 years (on and off) and have yet to come to anything close to being ready to buy one. I don’t mind spending a bit but if I’m going to spend $1-2k (CAD) on a pool vac I don’t want to regret my decision.
Here’s the issue- I go to the various vendor sites and I honestly can’t tell the difference between the various models based on the descriptions. I mean, Bluetooth/wifi enabled vs not is obvious, but which will work best in my pool, which I’ll be happiest with, remains a problem. Plus, most vendors have lines that are only available through brick and mortar pool shops- are they better? I don’t know. One of the best reviewed online on Amazon is the dolphin nautilus cc plus (at $1400 CAD) but is it best for my pool? Idk.
Open to any thoughts/recommendations people can offer. FWIW, my pool is vinyl and somewhat kidney shaped- so the walls are about 4-5’ tall, vertical and continuously curved with both concave and convex arcs. The 9’ deep end slopes in linearly from the base of those vertical walls, and there’s stairs in the shallow end
