How long should it take to clear?

Opened up in New York two days ago to green/algae. With mesh winter cover, CYA had gone to 0 so immediately added 4-lbs bag in sock (all since dissolved). Ph at 7.2. We skimmed the top for floating clumps of algae and then added SLAM level of liquid chlorine and have been running the pump and Dolphin robot nonstop. We also brush all surfaces with the long pole. FC has been holding above 15. There is now very little algae/other floating on the surface and if you pull a glass of water from the pool, water is clear in the glass. But as you can see in picture below, water is still solidly green. Is this just a "keep FC up and wait it out" procedure or is there something else I should be doing/thinking? Appreciated!

Keep it up at the correct SLAM level and let the pump run. It'll take a bit, but keep the faith!

You're at the level of being patient. Keep the FC level at SLAM level. There are some things you can check. What is the expected CYA level with the 4 lb addition? If you added two days ago, now you should probably check your CYA to see what it is. Perhaps it's higher than expected so the FC isn't actually at SLAM level?

I'd recommend using your pole/brush and taking a photo at the same spot every day to see if the clarity is improving or not.

OK. Keep the FC where it should be, check your CYA level to be sure it is what you expect it to be, keep brushing it up and the pump running to capture it in your filter.

That’s exactly what it is - SLAM stands for Shock Level And Maintain.
Follow the FC/CYA Levels
& the SLAM Process article precisely.
The more often you replenish fc to slam level for your cya the faster it will go.
Clean your filter when pressure rises 25% over clean pressure.
Brush & or vac daily, check & scrub ALL nooks & crannies where algae might hide like: light niches, ladders, ladder cups/handrails, drain covers, skimmer weir doors and throats, return eyeballs etc.
Also run any water features at least 1 hr each day.
