Hey team, so I got my pool A+ clear blue it's been everything was prepped for the family to go on vacation for a week when this morning my piping to the filter cracked and I had a leak of water coming from the connection. I disconnected the arm but I don't have an easy fix. My dad took it with the goal of my uncle or his plumber to be able to fix it while we are gone and get it working.

QUESTION: assuming all chemistry is balanced how long do you suspect pool will take to go bad?

2nd question: Does putting clorine in a pool that cannot pump, useful?

My original plan was to add clorine before we leave to raise it a little then have my parents run it Wednesday for 24 hrs and then I hoped it may be good when we return in 7 days on Sunday. He may have it fixed mid week but I was curious if I should add clorine still?

A few days.

Yes. Get a sump pump and put it in the pool. Turn it on to mix the water, pour over top of the sump so it mixes. Raise FC to the top of your target level before you leave. Run the sump for 1/2 hour after adding LC

Have someone add a gallon and a half of liquid chlorine a day over a running sump. Have them run the sump for 30 minutes after additions.

I recently went 3 days without power due to Hurricane. I had good FC level before the power went out. I kept adding chlorine and I used my battery powered robot to mix the pool. I see you have a robot so you could use that to mix your pool.
I had no issues with the pool over the 3 days without power. I felt I could have gone several more days if needed.
PS - i took my robot to a relative that had power to recharge it so I could run it daily to mix the pool.

During my pool build, I put a sump pump in my deep end once we got water in it. I would add liquid chlorine every day and run the pump, with the pump in the deep end and the hose in the shallow end. I also ran my robot twice a day. My pool still turned a little green, but once the pump and filter were turned on it was clean after a day. I would definitely follow the advice of putting a pump of some kind for circulation and keep it chlorinated. It will save you time for when you get everything fixed.

Welp.... got back from 7 day vaca, parents got the part fixed but came home to this. Time to slam lol. I am hoping the pump is not fried unfortunately my parents had the wrong lever pulled and the spa had drained to nothing and put air into the system for the last 24 hrs. It'll be my third time tackling it I feel this forum has taught me well I'll put a progress update in a few days!

Update:
Good news pump is a champ and seems to be working just fine.
I was having a heck of a time keeping clorine in this morning. I got it tested at the store and CYA was about 10 so I added 4lbs of stabilizer to bring that up. Then I have been adding gallon at a time and waiting half hour or so and testing via R-0870 powder & 0871 drop test. Most recent test i have brought the level up to 11, it was 22 drops /2 =11. According to pool math my target should be 10 so I am going to maintain here and check how it changes in the morning. I think i added 8 gallons throughout the day  luckily I gotten at menards for $4.99 + 11% off rebate.
