How do you remove motor from Hayward SP2300VSP Max-Flo VS pump?

I thought I got the correct kit, but it says AS-200V.
Polished with what?
Maybe a Scotchbrite type nylon scrub pad.
It needs to be very clean and smooth.
I would get a PS3867 seal or a PS-1901 seal.

It is the PS-200 style seal, which is a correct seal for the pump, but it is not a good seal.
The "Go" kits usually have junk seals.

Ok, so I’m going to give this a shot putting the spring portion of the seal the other way or NOT backwards.

Not leaking and definitely moving water, but I’ll look at getting one of the seals you recommended.
That said, I know what my next project is…
