I just received two new probes that read the ORP and PH for my pentair intellichem. It is not reading the PH correctly. It is incorrectly showing a PH of 8.8. We tested with our taylor TF100 and now its low at 6.8 because the machine just keeps dumping in the muriatic acid. How do I safely turn it off? The probes were replaced out of an abundance off caution because I incorrectly stored them over the winter inside my office without keeping them wet. The old probes were in fact spot on, and these new ones are giving bad readings. So frustrating. Its now screwing up the FC levels too...and on the hottest 2 days of the year. Any insight would be much appreciated.

Do you mean the IntelliChem?

See pdf page 12. I would set the pH dose or time to 0.

Yes, I have Intellichem. I just read page 12 and that seems too tricky for me to figure out. I was hoping I could just turn it off or kill the power till I get the probes working properly somehow.

Thank you for the info and taking the time to respond!

Unfortunately the intellichem breaker is tied to a pump and salt generator as well. I also tried to change dosage and time settings to prevent it from operating, but it won't accept changes when the PH reading are too high, 8.6, so it goes into lock-out mode and ignores us humans. I do see the white power wire that comes out of the bottom of the intellichem and maybe I can dig deeper in the breaker panel to just undo that one somehow. I really don't like going into breaker panels, and would love to find an easier simpler way. And I can't believe Pentair is closed on the weekends when most people get to use their pools and likely run into a pinch and need tech support.
