How do I clean this little pocket without getting it in my pool?
I didn't notice it until it rained and its full of algae

Get a turkey baster and squirt a little diluted bleach in there. Scrub with a bottle brush, and rinse with clear water, and run an old towel through to soak up the water. You may want to temporarily tape something over the opening on the pool side while you are cleaning to prevent anything from falling into the pool.

Well this is going to be fun lol

Yeah, I know it sounds like a real blast! Maybe you can cut up some pool noodle to fill in that pocket so you don't get as much water collecting in there.
That's a great idea. Guess i should clean it first just in case it decides to flow into pool

I was thinking about using our shop vac to get the bigger debris out without putting any in the pool, then trying the turkey baster with diluted bleach. I should have thought ahead and did it before I did my SLAM. But I didn't notice how bad it was until the other day.
