How do I clean these black marks made by the pool skimmer?

Hey all! First time pool owner here and I have a question about removing scuff marks from the pool. There seems to be black marks from the skimmer as I was trying to scoop out leaves from the bottom. The plaster is 48 days old and the pool hasn't been used yet. What is the best way to clean this up? Pic attached.

The pool is 16500 gallons SWG if that helps.

Thanks! That one is different than what I have. Pictures below.

I don't think it has a magnet and I have tried brushing with the nylon brush but its not coming off. I haven't gone inside the pool to brush by hand since its too cold at the moment.

Just keep brushing.

Hopefully, it will eventually go away.

If the equipment leaves marks, then switch to different equipment.

Maybe see what the builder says, especially if they gave you the equipment.

Thanks I'll keep brushing 2-3 times a day to see if it makes a dent. In the meantime, I'll reach out to the PB and see if they have any tips. I'll likely change out the black skimmer to a blue one as well. Any suggestions for skimmers?

Dark colors are probably not good.

White will probably be best.

Look for skimmers that say "Non-Marking".

Looks like the PB reached out to the plaster company (warranty) to assess the marks. They need to come out anyways to take a look at this one light in the hottub that doesn't look to be sitting flush. Any thoughts on this while I wait for them to schedule a visit? Is it safe to use the hottub or will I get electrocuted?

I would refer you to your builder for the OK to use the pool and/or spa.

Have all of the inspections been passed including the electrical inspection?

Yes,it passed all inspections from the county throughout the build phase and it received the final approval about 10 days ago. I'll just wait to hear back from the plaster folks/PB before using it just to be safe.

Thanks I just placed an order for their skimmer and brush. They seemed to have jacked up the price of the pole so I'll wait for that to come down in price first.

I ran into the same problems with the black rimmed piranha nets. The light green rims don’t mark up the plaster. So I stay away from the black rims. It will go away in time with enough brushing.

Thanks that's reassuring that it will eventually come off. I'm going to keep brushing it. It just sucks that this happened in the first place and I haven't even used the pool yet.

I think I got most of the black marks off with this thing recommended to me by the PB: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009Q0ZKTQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. It was also helpful in removing some stubborn calcium/new plaster buildup around the edge of the pool stairs and some corners. It definitely requires a lot of elbow work and since its basically a giant eraser, it leaves rubber like residue which needs to be cleaned after.

The plaster company was no help and the guy didn't want to give any hints on cleaning because "his boss gets mad when he gives advice.". They did fix the swimming pool light I posted about. It turns out the plaster was uneven and the hole was not large enough which caused the light to pop out. They drained the spa into the pool, enlarged the hole and put it back into place.

I have some more stains that I have questions about so I'll post a new thread.

Eraser. It feels like one and acts like one when you rub it against the pool ( leaves little brown "eraser" shavings). Its much less abrasive than a pumice stone since its a rubber-like texture.
