How close should liner seams match to contours?

My liner seems pretty snug - but I noticed in the shallow end, the seam, where the wall meets the floor, is offset a few inches in on the floor. So about 2 inches of wall liner is on the floor, and there is about a half inch gap in the corner behind the liner where the wall and floor meet. Any reason for concern? Is this within expected tolerance

The liner should fit tight all along the pool wall and bottom. Sometimes the seam might not be right along the edge but the liner should be snug without any "dead" space behind it.

how big of an issue is this and what is the remedy?

I’m looking at the pre-fill picture and I can see the coving. According to this site some degree of coving is acceptable Pool Liner Coving - not sure what to think


It looks like it also could be from the padding. Hmm...

Then you should be fine if that is what it is!

That's fine no issue. They are never skin tight theres always a smal void in corner. We use the seams to line up the liner when setting it.
