How close should liner seams match to contours?

My liner seems pretty snug - but I noticed in the shallow end, the seam, where the wall meets the floor, is offset a few inches in on the floor. So about 2 inches of wall liner is on the floor, and there is about a half inch gap in the corner behind the liner where the wall and floor meet. Any reason for concern? Is this within expected tolerance

I’m looking at the pre-fill picture and I can see the coving. According to this site some degree of coving is acceptable Pool Liner Coving - not sure what to think

It looks like it also could be from the padding. Hmm...
