Hot weather, High Ph, and High TA

I'm open to any suggestions, but I'm having difficulty keeping my Ph and TA down.

I'm in Texas, and it's been hot.. 111F today. I think we have had 2 days under 105 in the last 2 weeks.

With that much heat, I'm losing more water to evaporation, so I need to fill more frequently. I am in the country, and our water is supplied from a well, and has very high TA, close to 400.

So, when I add water, I need to add acid and aerate to get the Ph up. With the hot water, aeration causes more evaporation, which means more fill water, and the circle continues.

Before the hot weather, I was able to get my TA down to 80. I'm sitting at 120 now, and going through acid like crazy. I also travel for work just about every week. I will leave town with a Ph of 7.2-ish, and come back 3 days later to 8.0+.

I prefer to not have my wife handle the acid, but I am thinking I will go to the store and get several 5 gallon buckets with lids, and pre mix the acid, and have my wife just add one per day to the pool while I am out of town.

Any other ideas?

I say so the best you can.

pH above 8 for a week will not do any damage to your pool. Just knock it back down to the 7's when you get back.

How do you chlorinate your pool?

I brought the Ph down to 7.2 last night, and aerated all night.

Here are my numbers as of this morning:

FC 6.5
CC 0
pH 7.5
TA 110
CH 350
CYA 65-ish
SALT 3500
WATER TEMP 88F
