hot tub cover

Hi all,
My cover is slowly breaking down and its time for a new one. I am having trouble finding the inches/weight of the foam in the one I have- caldera kauai.
Any tips on where to find this information? or what do I need in my climate?
I live in zone 7, hardly any snow, I don't want to go too big or too small.
Thanks,
Smitty

For your area low density will be fine for insulation. Remember though, high density is also stronger, so if you have dogs who jump on it or kids who climb on it you may want a thicker and denser foam. My caldera had I believe a 5 inch taper, not sure of the density.
Leave cover open for 30 minutes after adding chemicals to prolong cover life.
