We are going to be replacing our liner next spring anyways, but this year we found there's a leak somewhere. Don't know how to go about closing it do I just let it drain out do it cover it and hope for the best? Not sure where the leak is right now. We're going to be replacing the pool in the spring so I wonder if we should just tear it down now

What type of pool with what type of walls are we discussing?
The water supports an AGP walls and without water the walls may not survive the winter/
Better to patch the leaks now and keep water in the pool to maintain its structural integrity while closed over the winter.
