Highish Alk, Low PH - Aerating is REDUCING pH??

Hi all, recently purchased a home with a built in combined pool/spa (30k gallons, the intake is from pool, the output is to spa which flows over a small wall down into the pool).

I've been struggling with low pH for a while now and something I read about was using aeration to increase pH without increasing our Alk. Our spa has air jets which I figured would count for aeration (as I saw this recommended for separated jacuzzi style spas), but as I've been aerating for the past 2 days, I've been noticing my pH dropping from 7.3 to 7.2 to 7.0 today! I do notice that the jets do cause water to spill onto the pavement, but I don't think our tap water is so low that the water to replace that lost amount would drop our pH so substantially.

In terms of chemicals, I've been using cal hypo 70% for chlorine primarily, as our calcium has always been a bit under the recommended amount in the app, though I did also chuck a floater in with 2 tabs of trichlor as our CYA was also at about 25ish and we wanted to get it up slightly higher. Our CYA is looking good today though so I will probably be sticking with cal hypo until our calcium hits about 250, or potentally perpetually as our water is rather soft and we've gone through about an entire bucket without really affecting the CA at all so I think our replacement water has been keeping the levels down.

Total levels below as of today:

FC: 3.5
TC: 0
pH: 7.0
TA: 100
CH: 210
CYA: 40

Does anyone have any advice about pH in this scenario?
