I have a pool that will be ready to start filling on Wednesday. I sampled a clean bucket of my water from house to get an idea on what to expect. PH was 7.5 and total alkalinity was 230.
I read the article here about lowering TA. It did say to not lower unless it’s causing specific problems. Should I expect to have to address this at some point this summer or is this common?
