I’m at 4200 ppm with a blinking green salt light everything else is green. Green light is coming on showing it is producing chlorine. My question is even though the chlorine light is green it is producing chlorine right? Basically the cell can produce chlorine with a high salt reading correct? I’m pretty sure it is.
I raised it because we have a bunch of rain coming and will be out of town.

B,

The cell will continue to make chlorine even with high salt.. The salt light just blinks to let you know the cell thinks the salt level is too high..

If the "Cell" light comes on, and is not blinking, then the cell is making chlorine.

Thanks,

Jim R.

I thought that it started blinking at 4,500 ppm?

Maybe the main drains were open when you added salt and a concentrated salt mix got sucked into the drains and caused the high salt warning?
