High Ph, now low and loving it

I opened my pool and the PH was so high, I added 32 oz of dry acid and it seemed like there was no effect. Then added 64 oz of 20% Muriatic Acid and now it is 7.2

I added 3 gallons of 10% bleach , made mistakes in doing so- calculation was for 365oz of 6% bleach, turns out I was using 10 % bleach. Holy cow- did that pool clear up quickly from murky to now "seafoam aqua".

Shouldn't I keep the PH this low until the pool is sparkly, then get it back to 7.5?

I'm slamming by the way. I'm shooting for 16 FC, but it would have probably shot up to 26 with what I added- then dropped to 6 in the 4 hours of that awesome clearing.

If you are slam ing the pool leave it be, and don't get it back there when you are done. Just let it drift back up on its own. It may well be over that by the time you finish anyway.

I'll run a fountain once clean, that'll raise it too I believe.
