High pH and low FC

I thought I had things under control, but.... We've had a lot of rain and I am struggling to keep pH down and FC is low. My water is crystal clear so I am not panicking, but I know I have to get the chemistry under control. Current results:

FC= 0.5 ppm CC= 0 pH= 8.2 TA= 50 CH= 375 ppm CYA= 30

I don't use chlorine tablets, but add 10% bleach. I added a gallon every other day this week. What should I do first?

Add bleach!

Then add muriatic acid to get to 7.5. Let your water circulate for 30 minutes and test again, if needed, add more muriatic acid. Your TA is OK, but if your pH drops too much it may be because you dropped your TA too much.

You might want to do an OCLT tonight. With that low of FC and what sounds like a more than normal chlorine demand, it would be prudent to check.

Take care.

Pour a gallon of 10% in now. Wait 15 minutes with the pump running and add 30oz of 31% muratic acid.

Don't blame the rain, while it did have an effect usually not that much. Adding chlorine (daily) and acid (couple of times a week) are regular chores with pool ownership.
