Would like confirmation I'm on the right track using test kit 2005

FC --25
TA --150 (after adding 30 ounces dry acid)
pH --7.6
CH --75
CYA---100
Temp 74 F

Trying to lower pH to lower TA

Shocked pool with 5 gals of 'bleach' 12% 2 days ago water is beautifully clear but chem numbers seem off (also added Algicide & CYA 4lbs )

Thank you excited to become a member !

Welcome to the forum!
With a FC above 10ppm, your pH test is invalid. Do not add chemical to adjust it.
If you have a Taylor K2005 kit, how are you testing a FC of 25ppm?
100 is the limit of the CYA test, so you have to do a diluted test. Mix 50% pool water with 50% tap water. Use this mixed sample as your test water. Multiply the result by 2 for your CYA level.
I suggest you read ABC's of Pool Water Chemistry and consider reviewing the entire Pool School eBook.
