Hi I am new to this Forum but I am not new to pool. I have owned 3 different types of pools when i lived in Las Vegas. First one was a blown in concrete pool with pebble tech, pop-up cleaners, salt water system, connected spa and gas heater. Second was smooth side concrete with pop up cleaner, chlorine system, gas heater with solar and connected spa. third one was a beach style pool with crawler cleaner and chlorine system. I took care of the chemicals on the first pool but paid someone to do the maintenance weekly on the other two.
I know live in Indiana and have an 26' octagonal in-ground pool with vinyl siding. Pool was down for 2 years (bought in foreclosure) we got it up and running really tuff time getting it clear and staying clear...then one day the kids put a hole in it a big one!!!! we drained it... it sat all winter we removed the linear to replace it the next spring and WE DID NOT!!! sat all year long without a liner....now i have ordered my liner and cove paint, cleaned out the top layer of sand everything is ready to go need to paint the cove, put in new sand, replace the liner, change the gaskets and order a water truck ( i don't want to use our well water).
So Wish me luck
Cindy
