Im a new pool owner and this is my first season with it open. I have a 21x40 inground pool (around 30,000 gallons) and put Clorox chlorine tablets in 2 days ago in the floater and they are still not dissolved. I live in South Jersey - its been in the low 80s during the day but in the 60s overnight. The water is turning green. What steps should I take? Will the tablets eventually dissolve? Thank you!

Green water could be a sign of algae. I would recommend starting a new thread in the Algae Prevention forum. Post some water test results and perhaps a pic of two of the water. We can definitely help.
