I'm new here and just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Matt and I live in Riverside, Ca. (Socal) and have been a pool owner for the last 4 years. The pool has never really looked as good as I thought it could but it recently got really bad as far as high TA and CYA. I guess it was fortunate however because that's how I found this site!
I've read through Pool School twice now and ordered the TF-100 test kit to get some accurate measurements and move forward on actually learning how to keep the pool chemicals in balance and get my costs down, instead of just dumping stuff in there.
I'll post some test results when I get the kit. Thanks in advance!!
