Just introducing myself and my problem 
...we're in Illinois and have owned our above ground pool for about 8 years. A tricky green water problem is what has me here (look for the thread in the proper area later). Anyway I've learned a bit already from the ABC's and Pool School etc, have our own TF-100 test kit coming and ready to tackle the maintenance with a more hands on approach. Looking forward to learning more in the near future!
