Welcome to TFP! Unfortunately, clearing the water overnight isn't an option. It doesn't work that way unless you want to drain the entire pool and refill which usually isn't a good option.
Test strips are horrible and partly to blame followed by horrible pool store advice. In the long run, I would recommend getting a proper test kit and posting a full set of numbers. That's the best place to start. From there we can help you through any chemistry issue. Either a good TF-Series test kit or a Taylor K-2006C is recommended. See below.
