Ok I got my refill agents from the Taylor website for my dated k-2005 kit but I don’t understand why I didn’t get my chlorine reagent #1 or#2 instead I gotta-r-0871 and a dpd r-0870 powder which I’m assuming replaces the #1and2????? Is that correct?and if so how do I use the to test my chlorine level?

Help us out. What Taylor website? It sounds like you got refills for the K2006 test kit but you have the K2005 kit?

Ok great but in the link of how to test with the powder it says to use the dipper to measure the powder which I didn’t get so would you know how much of the powder I should use?

You did not get the dipper because the refill kit you bought is for a kit with it.

Also, you use a 10ml water sample in a plain vial for the FAS-DPD FC test. Not your color comparator thing.
