Hi
I have been scouring the internet trying to find an answer, but thought maybe someone here could help. I am replacing the skimmers on my inground pool and I can't figure out how to properly set them in place.
Everywhere I read shows a process of entombing the skimmer in concrete with a rebar cage etc around it. However, in these videos the rebar is attached to the concrete wall of the pool. My pool has steel walls with a concrete floor. The pool is surrounded by dirt right up to the steel walls. Because of this, there is no solid wall to attach the rebar to, except for the concrete "border" around the top edge of the wall.
I plan to install a vinyl liner in the pool too.
