HELP with conversion

I am so confused on converting from Baquacil to Chlorine? There are so many conflicting instructions. From DO NOT ADD Chlorine to Baquacil to just put it in and start the conversion, to empty the pool and start over???

The "official" TFP process is correct. It takes a lot of chlorine to convert and 5 - 10 days, but it works! I did it 5 years ago.
