Your pump should not need to be primed because it's below the water level.
Wow what an image. Really nice. Thank you so much for the time. I should be fine to continue with this.If it helps.

Yes that’s what I suspect. Just filling with mor water should make the pump prime itself?Your pump should not need to be primed because it's below the water level.
Good point.Your pump should not need to be primed because it's below the water level.
Perfect! It should be less work for now. I did remove the pump basket once to clean. Seems like it’s the exact same steps to prime the pump than to clean it.Good point.I got distracted from all the other stuff and missed that simple concept. With the water level above the pump, gravity will do the work for you. Sorry I got all sideways on isolating water form the pump/pad. Still good to know because at some point you need to remove the pump lid for cleaning and need to know how to isolate things, but yes, once you open that black 3-way valve, way should flow right down to it. No need to fill the pot with water on your own.
I imagine I would need to wait some minutes for the pump to prime?Good point.I got distracted from all the other stuff and missed that simple concept. Not really. Once you open that black 3-way valve, water should pour right down to the pump pot. Just don't forget to switch the MPV back to FILTER if you closed it.I imagine I would need to wait some minutes for the pump to prime?
