Hi – first time poster on this forum. I have already read a few great posts on here about Intellichlor/EasyTouch installations but I still have a few questions about my setup. We inherited the setup from the previous owners. It’s an EasyTouch 8 with an Intellichlor IC40 SWG and Sta-rite Intellipro VSF pump. There are pool lights, spa, and a heater connected as well. From what I can tell, the installers did not wire the SWG correctly as the SWG stays powered on when the VSF pump is off. The SWG transformer was powered directly from a 15amp breaker in the load center (circled in RED in the picture) and not connected to the load side of the Filter Pump Relay (circled in GREEN).
Trying to correct the issue, I moved the yellow and white wires coming out of the left side of the SWG transformer from the 15amp breaker (circled in RED) and connected them to the load side of the Filter Pump Relay. But now my question is, do I move the two black wires from the VSF pump (currently connected to the 20amp breaker circled in YELLOW) to the load side of the Filter Pump Relay, and then wire the line side of the Filter Pump Relay to the 20amp breaker where the two black wires from the VSF pump used to be?
Thanks.
