4yo Pentair mastertemp 250 ng no longer turns on at unit. The only way i can turn it on is using the screenlogic app on my phone. any suggestions/ideas?

When the heater is connected to a Pentair automation (Easytouch?) the firemans switch controls the heater operation. To my knowledge if the automation is controlling the heater, you cannot override that on the heater control panel itself.

The fireman's switch controls the heater.
If the fireman's switch is closed, you should be able to use the heater from the heater control panel.
If not, the membrane pad might be bad.
