That will work but you can also tie it in back at the line running to the pump and that will tie everything together

can i tie those all together with metal ties and then bond ONLY at one point to the existing loop?

All in ground pools have to be bonded so you will need to have the bonding connected to any metal parts and under the deck ( any metal 5 feet from the pool I do believe) to include the water and pump... this is one of the bonding grid you will need under the deck all the way around the pool... Cowboy , I'll be back for advice from you later on if that's okay? Plan on doing a steel in-ground in the spring. I know the pump has to be grounded I didn't know there needed to be something under the deck as well.
