I'm guessing age, a couple of freeze cycles last winter cracked the nut on this thing. Found replacement union fittings but didn't realize when I ordered them that it goes into the elbow and not slide over a piece of pipe (hope that makes sense).
SO, am I screwed and have to replace this whole conglomeration of pvc? Is there any way to somehow remove the part with the threads from the elbow so I could glue in a new one? But most importantly, what is this called and any suggestions as to where to get them?
