I have this growth - Algae / fungus above the waterline in many parts of the pool. The itself pool is clear, combined chlorine zero. The Dolphin Pro does a great job to a few inches above waterline. How do i remove it best? Also if stuff falls into the pool as I scrape off, is that ok? First time pool owner, maintain it myself.

Brush the areas with a stiff brush while splashing it with your pool water.
I use a brass bristled brush.
Your normal chlorination will take care of anything that falls into the pool.
