I'm a new home and pool owner as of late summer last year. My wife and I had a difficult time getting the chemistry under control and didn't get to enjoy our new-to-us pool at all before closing very late in the year.
Now I've switched gears from indoor projects over the winter to spending the last couple of months improving the backyard, starting with completing the demo of the rotted out deck, and relocating the pool equipment to a more hidden and easier to maintain spot in the yard (I'll post pics of that install in another thread).
My cousin turned me on to TFP two weeks ago and I'm excited to start following the process. We opened the pool yesterday and started cleaning and SLAMming.
