Hello - New here - Need help with Hayward Aquarite Goldline salt generator - T-9

Hi All- Have a fiberglass salt water pool for 3 years. Pool is about 5 years old.

Recently free chlorine was low and after a few chemical changes, took cell in for testing. Pool person recommended changing salt cell.

Replaced cell with new hayward goldline T9 cell ( similar to previous cell)

Now the cell voltage keeps going up and down from around 19 to 0 . Amps is 0. Instant salt level is -0. It is on the correct cell - T 9.

Checked pool chemistry - free chlorine is still low. Only lights on is power and salt generating light. It comes on and switches off like it should.

Is the problem the mother board? Can I do anything else to troubleshoot/rectify the problem.

Probably a bad thermistor. Quarter sized black disc upper right. Can you solder?

If you want to replace the board, it's a GLX-PCB-RITE.
