Hi! I found this site in my search to convert dry acid pounds to cups. My local Leslie’s tech said I needed almost 14 pounds of dry acid. My assumption was ok, that’s 224 ounces (14x16). After 4 applications using my 24 ounce bucket I had the water tested again. The new test shows I only need an additional 4 lbs 12 oz. My tech explained that a pound of dry acid = 1 1/3 cups. Had I kept going I would have created an acid bath, lol. So, math is hard and here I am.
