On 9/1/2021 my pool guy raised his rates for the third time in a year I suspended our business and decided to go it alone, with the encouragement of my neighbors, who had ben caring for their swimming pools and spas for years. With help of the local Leslie's manager who does not upsell but gives good advice, I've been managing my swimming pool myself with substantial savings and a feeling of accomplishment. Direct involvement in caring for the pool in economical and allows familiarization with the pool equipment.
I have questions from time to time. I hope participation in this forum will enrich my understanding and enhance my ability to care for my swimming pool, spa and their combined 15,500 gallons of water.
